Cognitive behavioral therapy is one of the most scientifically researched forms of psychotherapy. It is based on modern learning theory, which suggests that much of our thinking, feeling, and perception is learned through our individual life experiences. These learned patterns, or schemas, can become ingrained over time and negatively influence us, leading to psychological problems.
During therapy, we will explore these behavioral patterns, bring them to light, and use behavioral therapy techniques to consciously change them. In line with the third wave of behavioral therapy, the focus is on emotion-focused work.
As a behavioral therapist, I accompany each person on their individual journey. Together, as a team, we will work towards achieving your goals and help you rediscover your strength.
